Versioning & Rollout

Castroid Player updates roll out automatically. When a new version is live, older versions are sunset in place—your existing embeds update on their own, so you don’t need to change anything on your site.

Compatibility

We develop updates to be backward-compatible whenever possible.
If a change could affect layout or behavior, we announce it here and provide a safe migration path.

New Features

New options and UI capabilities appear in the builder as they become available. To use a newly added feature, generate a fresh embed from the builder and paste the new iframe into your site. Existing embeds keep working as before.

Maintenance

During brief maintenance windows, the builder may be temporarily unavailable. Player embeds continue to serve listeners for their audience.
